Gen. 1:11-12 God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, herb yielding seed, and fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth; and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after its kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after its kind; and God saw that it was good.

The creation of the world begins with the creation of the light on the first day. The second day sees the creation of the sky.

What it Means for Advocates:

|
Plant a vegetable garden, even if all you have room for is a small herb garden on your kitchen counter, experience what it is like to care for the plant, water it and watch the living plant grow. Do your tomatoes taste sweeter? Is the basil, or even the varieties of basil more tangy?
